The 20/22 Act Foundation Inc. (the “Foundation”) supports and directly works with local charities in the animal cruelty, arts, elderly, and homeless areas, among others, by allocating monetary contributions collected as part of the educational and social efforts made through The 20/22 Act Society (the “Society”). The Society is a group open to the general public that educates and gathers those interested in relocating to Puerto Rico in view of the tax incentives provided by Acts 20 and 22 of 2012, as amended. In addition, the Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.”
