Purpose / Mission The nonprofit corporation is organized for the following purposes: Cross The Goal Foundation Inc., is a PUBLIC BENEFIT nonprofit corporation that is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, including for such purpose, the making of distributions organizations that qualify as tax-exempt organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Specifically, this corporation is organized exclusively to provide educational services and promote healthy lifestyles to kids, youth and adults with Diabetes and Atopic Dermatitis. We aim to provide skills that will foster the good management of these conditions to decrease the probability of complications so patients suffering these diseases can enjoy a better quality of life. In addition, our purpose is to provide motivational programs, alternative treatments to individuals suffering these diseases. The purposes of the corporation shall include, but not limited to: Advocate and research Atopic Dermatitis in kids, youth and adults. Provide outdoor fitness program activities for Diabetes patients, specifically designed to avoid discomfort to the condition. Deliver emotional support to youth, adults and their caregivers so they can develop psychological well-being to be mentally and emotionally strengthened to cope with these conditions. Thereupon assume the disease with optimism and achieve confidence in their personal interactions. No part of the net earnings of the nonprofit corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its members, directors, officers, or other private persons, except that the nonprofit corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in furtherance of the purposes set forth above. No substantial part of the activities of the nonprofit corporation shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distribution of statements), any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. Notwithstanding any other provisions, the nonprofit corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on by a nonprofit corporation exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501 (c ) (3) of Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Code.
